I’ll ride this wave until it changes
Of interlocking changing faces.
A dark hole.. an empty soul.
A beautiful heart & a mind made for dreaming,
That the waves have ravished and lost all feeling.
I search,
I look,
I try,
To find where all the good parts of me have gone.
Have they been swept out to sea?
In this vast blue ocean?
The world still spinning but without all motion.
So I’ll ride this wave until it changes, where the tide meets the shore….
Maybe there I’ll find, the me I was before.
Whole, complete & with the sand on my feet.
